60 Days Left in 2026: How Will You Finish?

A different perspective on finishing the year with intention, clarity and your wellbeing intact.

There are 60 days left in 2026.

And as we enter November, perhaps it's worth pausing for a moment and asking ourselves a different question.

How do I want to arrive at the end of this year?

Definetly not how much more can I achieve before the year ends?

For many of us, November and December can bring a familiar sense of urgency. There are targets to meet, deadlines to close, responsibilities to fulfil, family commitments and expectations to manage.

We start counting what's left to do rather than acknowledging everything we've already navigated.

But what if the final 60 days weren't about squeezing more out of ourselves?

What if they became an opportunity to finish differently?

Five invitations for the final 60 days

1. PAUSE.

Before rushing into the final stretch, take a moment to acknowledge how far you've come.

You've made it through ten months. Think about what those months have asked of you, what you've navigated and what you've learned along the way.

That counts for something.

2. REFLECT.

What has this year taught you?

What have you achieved? What have you been carrying? What needs your attention? What might you need to let go of?

Not everything unfinished is a failure. Sometimes reflection helps us recognise that growth has happened in ways we didn't initially measure or expect.

3. REASSESS.

Are your current commitments supporting the life you want, or simply filling your days?

Sometimes we become so accustomed to our routines, responsibilities and expectations that we forget to question whether they still serve us.

You are allowed to change direction. It's never too late.

And perhaps the question is: What are we late for anyway?

4. RECOVER.

Your body, mind and nervous system need more than another productivity push.

Rest is not a reward for finishing. It is part of how you sustain yourself.

Before the demands of the festive season begin, consider what recovery looks like for you. What needs to slow down? Where do you need to create space? What have you been postponing in the name of getting everything done?

5. CHOOSE.

Choose what deserves your energy in these final 60 days.

Let go of what doesn't, especially the invisible patterns and burdens we carry silently.

You don't have to do everything. You have to be intentional about what matters.

What does your Hidden Score™ say about how you're finishing?

We often measure the year through visible outcomes: achievements, milestones, targets, productivity and things completed.

But there's another side to the story.

What has it cost you to keep going? How have you been recovering? Are your daily choices supporting your wellbeing, or are you constantly negotiating with your own capacity?

This is part of the conversation behind the Hidden Score™.

Because sustainable performance isn't simply about what you accomplish. It's also about what supports you to keep showing up without consistently sacrificing your wellbeing.

Finish differently. Make it count.

You still have 60 days.

Not necessarily to do more. Not necessarily to move faster. But to become more intentional about how you spend your energy, what you prioritise and how you want to experience the remainder of this year.

And perhaps the most valuable thing you can give yourself is the opportunity to gain a different perspective.

Before you move into the final 60 days...

Take a moment to consider:

  • What do I want to carry with me into the final stretch of this year?

  • What am I ready to leave behind?

  • Where does my wellbeing need more attention?

  • What would finishing differently look like for me?

Perhaps the goal isn't to finish the year having done everything.

Perhaps it's to finish knowing that you made conscious choices about what mattered, gave yourself permission to pause and didn't lose yourself in the process.

You have 60 days. How will you choose to use them?

Finish differently. Make it count.
